Creating a custom gifting label starts with choosing the right size label. Use the configurator above to see what shapes and sizes we have on offer. Alternatively check out our  How to Choose the Right Label Size guide to help guide you to the right label.

Next comes a good design. Use Avery's easy-to-use Design & Print software to lay out your label. Include your brand logo, product name, and any necessary information like ingredients or usage instructions. Once your design's ready, we will print it within 2 business days and ship out to you.

Printing your own Christmas Labels can be cheaper for small batches. You can purchase blank labels directly from us for you to print at home. Check out our Blank Labels range.

For larger quantities or needing quality printing, our printing service could be more cost-effective.

The best paper depends on your product. For most items, a high-quality, paper label paper works great, like our gloss or matt. If your product will be exposed to moisture or handling, consider a more durable, waterproof option like our Heavy Duty material.

Ultimately, It's about your product or gift look. Glossy labels are shiny and vibrant, great for catching the eye. Matt labels have a more subdued, classy vibe and are easier to read. 

We recommend our Heavy Duty or Removable Heavy Duty material for labels that go on products that are submerged or might get washed. These materials are made out of polyester and are Waterpoof & Freezer safe.

Yes, we offer a free sample pack. It contains samples showcasing a large range of our materials and shapes, along with a sizing chart to help you easily choose your perfect label.

After designing your label, you can preview it and download a Digital PDF Proof for review. This allows you to verify the final size, text legibility, spelling, and image quality before placing the order. If satisfied, proceed to add it to your shopping cart; otherwise, click "edit" to make adjustments. 

For a physical proof/sample, we suggest ordering 1 sheet of labels to check your design before placing a larger order.

We recommend going through our Artwork FAQs to make sure you set up your artwork correctly for best print results. To upload your own artwork, select your shape / size / material and click “Start Designing”, you will then be prompted to either enter our design software or you can upload your jpg, pdf etc.
