How to Use Templates
We have created blank and pre-designed templates to help you format your Avery products. Our Microsoft® Word templates are compatible with Microsoft Word 2007, 2003, XP, 97 and Microsoft Word for Mac®. We also offer a range of blank templates for Adobe® Illustrator®, InDesign®, Photoshop®, PageMaker® and Freehand®, and QuarkXpress®.

Finding templates for your Avery product is easy! On our Templates page, enter your software code (found on your packet) in the Search Templates & Software area on the left menu, and click the blue arrow. All the templates that can be used with your product will be visible. We have lots of templates! You might like to use the categories in the left menu to help you narrow your search.

1. To learn more about a template, click on its name

2. To download a template, click on the Download Template button. A Download in Progress window will appear. Your download will either commence automatically, or you will see the adjacent message relating to protecting your security.

3. Right click the information bar with your mouse and select Download File.

4. The File Download dialogue box will appear. We recommend you save the file. Click Save.

5. The Save As dialogue box will appear. Navigate to the drive and folder where you'd like to save the file. Remember where you saved the file and the file name. Click Save.

Tip: You can rename the file if you would like.

6. Open Microsoft Word, or your Adobe application, and select File, then Open to navigate to the drive and folder to open and edit your template.
